In Bao Ninh (Quang Binh), Aunt Suu – a remarkable woman running her own boatyard has dedicated herself to a craft slowly fading from her village.
The beginning was anything but easy. In a trade shaped by the belief that:“Women shouldn’t build boats or work at sea, as it may bring bad luck,”; she faced doubt and social prejudice. But with determination, sincerity, and unshakeable will, Aunt Suu proved her skills and her dream.
More than ten years on, she continues to stand firm in her craft. And with LIPOVITAN by her side, she has built and repaired boats of all sizes, supporting local fishermen as they head out to sea, strong and steady against the waves.
