GRAND OPENING CEREMONY OF THE LIPOVITAN FACTORY EXPANSION PROJECT

The grand opening ceremony of the expanded Lipovitan factory was successfully held with the attendance of Mr. Ta Hong Quang – Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Xanh Duong – Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Ton That Toan – Director of the Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. Representing Taisho Vietnam were Mr. Tatsuhiko Tsuchiya – Representative of Taisho Japan; Ms. Matsuo Yuki – General Director of Taisho Vietnam; along with department directors and the Taisho Vietnam staff.

The inauguration ceremony of the Lipovitan factory expansion in Khanh Hoa took place on March 7, 2023.

At the event, Ms. Matsuo Yuki – General Director of Taisho Vietnam shared:
“This year marks the 27th anniversary of the LIPOVITAN factory. Although the brand originated in Japan, what has allowed it to grow and be loved by Vietnamese consumers today is the tremendous contribution from all of you. To achieve a breakthrough, we have installed additional production lines and expanded our warehouse facilities. As a result, both our production and shipping capacities have doubled — and with that comes significant pressure on our sales teams as well.”

Mr. Tatsuhiko Tsuchiya – Representative of Taisho Japan, also shared:
“After many years of operating at this site, our business has progressed smoothly, and the factory has consistently increased production. By 2021, we made the decision to expand. From early 2022, the expansion project began, and after about one year, both the new warehouse and the new production line were completed. This year is also the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. We are delighted to be able to hold this important factory inauguration during such a memorable year.”

The groundbreaking for the expansion took place in December 2021. After more than 14 months of construction, the new factory and its modernized production lines are now complete and ready to operate. The upgraded facility offers significant improvements over the previous factory, including an expanded warehouse area of 3,181 m², fully automated production lines, and a capacity of 25–30 cartons per minute, compared to the previous 13–15 cartons per minute. With these advancements, Lipovitan is confident that production capacity will be sufficient to meet the growing market demand.
